Confidentiality

Phoenix Behavioral Health believes that all clients have a right to privacy. Therefore, all information shared during your sessions is considered personal and confidential. There are a few exceptions that must be reported as mandated by law that we feel you should be aware of, these include imminent danger to yourself or others, suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or information that a child is in danger, or a court order. Beyond these exceptions information will only be released with your written permission. This includes information to be released to your health care insurer.

Confidentiality issues are important. If you have any concerns, please talk with your Therapist or ask to speak with our Assistant Director and HIPPA Compliance Officer, Lisa Leidy.
